Art in isolation
I found this period a crucial moment for retrospection to listen to my inner self and use the creative power emanating from within to express my thoughts. The photos express people’s different experi-ence in their daily life during the quarantine. This is a visual expression of how we all, in our loneli-ness, are dealing with the current restrictions and how our recreational activities get a new shape from its natural state.
Since ancient times, humans have formed a close relationship with the nature and many mental problems could be healed with the help of nature. This project has started two month ago employ-ing photography. The aim of using photography is to be able to convey people’s feeling in current conditions.
The photos show the relationship of humans, their loneliness, and the nature. Use of colours, por-traits, and how they are positioned or are standing in the photos, together with the use of natural light without utilising photography equipment, accelerated my progress to reach my goal. Nature and colours are inseparable factors that both have an essential role in my photos.
